Job Title: Data Validation Analyst

Remote Work: Hybrid, onsite in Deerfield, FL 3x's a week

Duration: 12 Months

Location: Deerfield Beach

Rate: $93/hr

They are looking for someone who is highly proficient in writing and optimizing complex SQL queries, stored procedures, and views for deep data exploration and profiling across large datasets and can lead validation efforts comparing legacy and new data environments, including ETL optimization and data warehouse performance tuning.

• Knowledge Sharing: Team members are encouraged to independently research new tools or features (e.g., Microsoft white papers), validate their findings, and then share insights and best practices with the group. This ensures the team stays current and aligned.

• Bridging Technical and Business Needs: The role sits at the intersection of technical development and business engagement. The developer will interact directly with reporting analysts, managers, and occasionally directors-not just with project managers or business analysts. The ability to translate business requirements into technical solutions and vice versa is critical.
• Consultative Mindset: Success in this role requires guiding business users through the analytics process-from requirements gathering, through solution design, to delivery and support. The developer should be comfortable coaching, eliciting needs, and helping users understand data structures and reporting options.
• Adaptability & Learning: Client values candidates who are quick learners and active learners-those who can pick up new concepts, tools, or approaches rapidly and apply them effectively. The ability to adapt to changing requirements and iterate quickly is essential.

3. Independence & Initiative

• Balanced Autonomy: While teamwork is crucial, the developer should also be able to work independently-taking initiative, driving tasks forward, and not relying solely on others for direction.
• Ownership & Accountability: The team expects transparency regarding progress and challenges. Consultants should communicate early if they are stuck or need support, rather than waiting until deadlines are missed.
